CHRISTIAN KAMMERL – BACK FROM ANDALUSIA
In 2009, Christian Kammerl left his band and his guitar school in the South of Germany behind to go to Andalusia. There he wanted to realize his dream of spending a long time exclusively with flamenco and extend his knowledge on flamenco guitar. Instead of four years as planned, the small family ultimately stayed more than twice as long in the beautiful city of Ronda in the province of Malaga. When they decided to come back to Germany in autumn 2017, Kammerl brought a brandnew eloborately produced album in his suitcase.
BLACK AND WHITE MOVIE
A GERMAN SPANISH-BRITISH COOPERATION
The album Black and White Movie, a German-Spanish-British project, was written in the last 3 years of his stay in Andalusia. It contains songs and compositions written by Christian Kammerl, which have been created over the years, sometimes even before his time in Andalusia. "Black and White Movie" is stylistically very diverse and combines elements of pop, blues, rock, funk, Latin and flamenco. The genesis of the album is so exciting and eventful that we tell it here.
